MAD Greens Doubling in Size in 2015
That's a lot of salads! MAD Greens, Colorado’s homegrown leader in fresh, made-to-order gourmet salads, wraps, Paninis and soups, announces its expansion from 12 to 24 restaurant locations by the end of the year.
In 2015, MAD Greens will open new Colorado restaurants in Westminster, Lone Tree, Castle Rock and North Colorado Springs with additional locations announced in early summer. Also in 2015, two new Arizona MAD Greens locations will open in Scottsdale and Tempe with additional Phoenix-area locations opening later in the summer and fall.
Founded in 2004 with now 12 locations across Colorado, MAD Greens has built a loyal following for its healthful, ‘crave-able’ and customizable menu, highlighted by create-your-own salads topped with premium, farm-fresh ingredients. Not to mention more than 20 salad dressings made from scratch each morning by MAD Greens’ certified ‘Dressing Mixologists.’
“We have spent the last 10 years carefully developing a successful restaurant concept focusing on healthy, fresh, locally-sourced food in a fun atmosphere,” said MAD Greens Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer Marley Hodgson. “We are ready to grow in a big way and help further a love for eating better across Colorado and Arizona.”
MAD Greens is committed to using local companies and locally sourced ingredients on its menu whenever possible. The chain partners with local farms and suppliers to provide its lettuce, vegetables, herbs, and even started its own farm in partnership with Agriburbia in 2013. Local brands served in MAD Greens’ Colorado restaurants include Alhberg Farms, Bing Energy, WestSoy Tofu, Charles Johnson Farms, Izzio’s Artisanal Bakery, Jumpin’ Good Goat Dairy and OLOMOMO Nut Company, among others.
