Team member-inspired salads now here for a limited time

We're always striving to bring you new flavor combinations and the freshest salad creations. Sometimes we're inspired by seasonal produce like strawberries in the Mighty Aphrodite. Other times, our chef travels to discover faraway flavors like the Thai papaya salad and the Genghis Khan. But this time, we went much closer to home for inspiration and asked our own team members to create new dishes for the fall. Salad artists work with our food every day, they appreciate each ingredient's flavor profile and love to get creative with their own meals. Who could be more qualified than them?!

We had more than 65 delicious recipe ideas submitted and from those, four were voted most popular by members of the MAD Greens family in each state. So it is with great pride that we present our short-run seasonal offerings, as created and chosen by our MAD Greens teams, and now available until October 31.

Colorado - Marie Curie: Romaine, Spinach, Roasted Chicken, Apples, Bacon, Edamame, Smoked Cheddar Cheese with Ranch Dressing
The mastermind behind this creation was a salad artist in Lone Tree, Colo. Bacon and apples are such a classic savory-sweet combo and the smokey creaminess of the cheese is a great contrast to the satisfying crunch of the edamame.
 
Arizona - The Jackson: Pasta, Spinach, Grilled Citrus Chicken, Avocado, Bacon, Cheddar Cheese, Green Onions, Roasted Red Peppers with Spicy Sriracha Almond Vinaigrette
A team member in Scottsdale, Ariz. created this craveable, indulgent salad. The Sriracha Almond Vinaigrette goes well on anything, in our opinion, but particularly with the pasta and a "half-and-half" salad is both nutritious and filling. 
 
Texas - King Sejong: Baby Greens, Grilled Steak, Apples, Green Onions, Edamame, Carrots with Ginger Soy Dressing
The salad artist at our Domain location wanted to create a steak-forward, Asian-inspired salad. The soy in the steak marinade pairs beautifully with the Ginger Soy dressing and the green onions with carrots is a traditional combo that brings a bright note.

Turns out Utahns and Coloradans not only like the same wintertime activities, but also the same salads! The Marie Curie was also voted most popular by team members in Utah.
