It's that time of year again...days are getting longer, trees are blooming, people are shedding layers and MAD Greens is debuting new menu items! For our spring menu, we're excited to introduce two seasonal items: the Genghis Khan salad and the MAD Banh Mi panini. The Khan is a returning fan favorite featuring wonton strips, green onions, roasted corn, carrots and mango topped with Spicy Sriracha Vinaigrette and grilled Piri Piri shrimp. This salad draws inspiration from the Thai Green Papaya Salad and combines spicy, sour, sweet, soft and crunchy for a wonderful mealtime experience.
Joining the Khan on our menu is the brand new MAD Banh Mi panini...and this sandwich is unlike anything we've ever offered. Most paninis tend to be very heavy but our pickled vegetable slaw (a mix of cucumbers, carrots and red onions) brings a brightness that is so satisfying to crunch into. This dish was inspired by the classic Vietnamese sandwich but uses chicken instead of traditional pork and, once again, features the delectable Sriracha Almond Vinaigrette. The MAD Banh Mi has so many bold flavors that will surely blow you away.
