For the fourth year in a row, MAD Greens got dirty for a good cause as the Local Sponsor for MuckFest MS Denver. We were psyched to not only run the 5k mud-filled obstacle course, but also serve healthful salads and fresh wraps to all the participants and volunteers.

The event saw 3,200 Muckers overall and MAD Greens was proud to bring together 15 members for our team Mucky McMuckface. We raised $5,145 for the Colorado-Wyoming Chapter of the National MS Society to support their ultimate goal: Creating a world without MS. MS is an unpredictable, often disabling disease of the central nervous system that disrupts the flow of information between the brain and body. MS affects more than 100,000 Coloradans and the cause is still unknown.
"Colorado has one of the highest incidences of MS in the nation, and MAD Greens has been a generous, supportive partner of the Chapter and our mission of having a world free of MS," said Chapter President Carrie Nolan. "Community partners like MAD Greens are instrumental in raising awareness for the cause."
"Joining together is the only way to fight this unpredictable, often debilitating disease. We want to help provide the much-needed financial and personal support for those living with MS," said MAD Greens Co-Founder Marley Hodgson.
In the past six years, MAD Greens has donated more than $175,000 in cash and in-kind contributions to the MS Society, through sponsorship and participation in events like Bike MS Colorado
, Walk MS Denver
and MuckFest MS Denver.
